Popular vocalist Rod Stewart is now a grandpa after his daughter Kimberly gave birth to her little girl this weekend.

The up to now unnamed baby girl came into this world in Los Angeles with a weight of 8lbs 9oz as is the very first grandchild for Rod Stewart, whose spouse Penny Lancaster gave birth to his eighth child early this year.

Kimberly declared her pregnancy in April and the baby’s daddy is award winning actor Benico del Toro. Even though the new parents are not together, both revealed they were anticipating the baby’s arrival.
